Our highly experienced estimating team is committed to serving our customers with detailed scopes and timely pricing.  The estimating department also serves our customers by providing budget pricing for jobs in development.

Our professional project management department is key in meeting the complex and challenging demands of construction, including green building, safety, change orders, and frequently revised contract drawings. Our project management team meets these demands while working with the general contractor’s team to maintain job progress.

In an industry where timeliness is everything, maintaining control of the shop drawing process is critical. To help us stay ahead of job requirements, we are one of the few miscellaneous steel fabricators that still has in-house drafting and detailing department. Our 9 experienced detailers produce shop drawings and solve complex engineering problems prior before submitting for approval. By maintaining control of the process we are able react fast the ever changing needs of your projects.

When jobs call for Engineering Seals and Calculations we work Skarda & Associates, Inc., a well-known structural engineering firm located in Baltimore. Our 20 year relationship with Skarda  means that when turnaround time is critical, we can get what is needed to keep your project moving.

All fabrication is done in-house by our own experienced fabricators in our two manufacturing facilities. Our nine full-time field crews make sure that our products are erected to specification, ensuring that what was detailed and fabricated is installed correctly.

Safety is a huge part of the construction business and big reason why the biggest names in general contracting work with Miscellaneous Metals. Our safety program is key to maintaining a great safety record, and to keep it,  we contract with Chesapeake Region Safety Council to independently inspect our facilities and jobsites. Our electronic daily progress and job safety reports keep you up to date and in compliance.
